When it rains, it pours; but then comes the sun.

Ohhhhhhhhh weee. Thus weekend has been one for the books and I can honestly say that come 5 pm today on a freaking Monday that I will finally feel like I can relax. Thursday our daughter decided that acid reflux would be fun to give a whirl and tossed her cookies. After a long conversation over the phone with our FANTASTIC pediatrician we started giving tums 3x a day before big meals to kind of rest and reset her stomach. This has made a major improvement and after 3 says of fussy, tired, crabby toddler we are finally turning a corner; at least so I thought till captain temper tantrum showed up while I was making Pico this morning. 🙄

IF that was not enough all weekend to deal with... the lawn company that takes care of the grass and such for our apartments tossed a rock Friday morning and shattered our back window on our only car. Now this may not seem like too big of a deal, but this is the SECOND major glass incident in less than 6 months here. We are pretty sure some local kids that like to cause trouble shattered our windshield this past winter but could never prove it. So that first endeavor was over $400 to replace. Things just seem to keep adding up here and to have this happen Friday, my kiddo sick, and the extremes my body and mind have been going through from post partum, ppd, starting a non estrogen pill to prevent baby #3 for at least a year, the pretty much constant period I've had for the last 6 weeks, 4 month sleep regression with our son, and my dog craping on the floor... I nearly lost it Friday. Thankfully, this has a happier ending at least with the kids and car. (Mr dog is fine too hes just going to get shaved today).

The lawn company paid in full and is sending a mobile replacement company out today before 4 pm to replace the back glass. Our son slept 8 hours last night and let mommy sleep. Sister is feeling better and keeping all her food down. And, after much research, John and I ordered a set of Wyze OG and Wyze OG Telephoto security cameras and he set them up Saturday afternoon. We now have full wide angle and 3x zoom cameras on our entire front door area and our parking and garage spaces. So once the car is fixed today, we can breath a bit again.

As far as post partum and new pills go, well that just is going to take more time.

So it rained, it poured, but the sun is slowly peaking out this afternoon! And I'm making Mexican food for dinner!

Let's just hope the rest of this week treats us all with more tender care.

Until next time from our Chaos to yours!

K.
